Everyone is invited to partake in the community-wide Christmas for the Soldiers this Saturday, November 12th. Events start at 10am at Phil Moore Park with Presentation of Colors, Prayer, and our National Anthem and ending at 2pm. Children can play on the inflatables, enjoy face painting, and write Christmas letters to the soldiers. Everyone is encouraged to donate items to our soldiers; the following items are needed: Bible, book, magazine, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, comb/brush, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, and face wash, just anything to pass the time. KidStuffAroundTown will have a booth were children can write letters to the soldiers and make Christmas cards. Volunteers are also needed to sort and pack all the donated items.
