The Volunteers In Action (VIA) held their 23rd Annual Awards Reception this afternoon at the Christ Episcopal Church. One of the groups KidStuffAroundTown nominated won the VIA 2012 Rookie Volunteer Award. Congratulations goes to the Kiwanis Youth Leadership Clubs which includes Briarwood’s K-Kids, BGHS Key Club, Warren East Key Club, and WKU’s Circle K. The following students were at the reception to except the award: Faith Mills (President of Circle K), Callie Denham, Cesalee Hopwood, Drew Crocker (all three from BGHS Key Club) and (from Briarwood K-Kids) Drew Fleschner, Alyssa Fleschner, and Brooklyn Goodrich.
